Thanks for checking out my work! I thought about it... but the cat presents a very interesting form in its out-of-focus state to me. I felt like there are too many in-focus shots of cats, with super-sharp eyes and fur. This is how I enjoyed capturing it.

I suppose it does. Like you said, if it were in focus it would be just another keen eyed furry mammal. In my defense, cats generally invoke the 'aww' response in most girls, so I was just being in character. Its a pretty amazing capture actually :)
